We were told by the dog sanctuary that she had been done, but they can't find a record of it. If her previous owner had it done, she must have been less than 5 months. How do you tell, only she has no scar and we can't ask her. |

We have a 11 month old puppy, we let her have her first season, which certainly seemed to calm her down, she's going in this month to have 'the op' (not sure we could handle the patter of many tiny paws around) I'm dreading it, as I don't know how she'll be afterwards, the vet advised us to have her done before she went into season, but I think it depends on the breed you have, and how you feel about it. |

Yes, I think a visit to the vet might help, so she can get a proper check up. |

Do not rely on what the animal sanctuary have said. A friend got a rescue dog and was told she had been spayed. She hadn't, my avatar is one of her puppies. |
