As you ladies reach a certain age and have to wear a vest, you should tuck it in your bloomers and cover yourself up with your shawl.

Is your vest our singlet ? Or is your vest our waistcoat or sleeveless jumper. Or is your vest a camisole.

If it is a singlet worn under everything, tuck it in.

If it is a camisole and can be seen beneath an open shirt, leave it out or tuck it in whether or not you wear a belt.

If it is a waistcoat worn over a long sleeved shirt or light jumper, under a jacket, leave it out.
