	Dont know if it has reached the national press as I never bother with it, but there is a murder investigation at the hosiptal in the Northwest. This morning a nurse was arrested and is helping the police with their inqueries, 3 hours ago her name was released and already their is a hate group set on FB, some of the comments are vile....

	Not the first time some one has been arrested and then when checks have been made - they have been released as they have been innocent. Best to wait and see first.

	And also when the media got all the details wrong with a Bristol murder they ended up being sued. Names should never be released in these circumstances as, for a start it can prejudice proceedings. However, if it is the hospital with the insulin deaths, I hope they have caught the person responsible.

	This was discussed during PM's questions today. Briefly, the police should not name suspects until they have been charged, therefore not giving the press any details which may damage an innocent person's reputation.

	With all the fuss going on at the moment about the press/media I would have thought that "they" would have shown a bit of common sense. I believe that at the moment the person named has been arrested but not charged. We should not be told the names of anyone until they have been charged. Also once they have been charged, they should be tried by the courts and not by media or any internet site. This is damaging for the innocent, which is terrible. Perhaps if this state of affairs continues, one of these days someone who IS guilty will get away with the crime because of details "leaked" to the press. and therefore to the general public and jury members. When will this madness stop? Hayley, I am in the West Midlands area, this has been reported here over the last few days on the news on tv (like you I don't read the national papers, so don't know about them). Thank goodness for the nurse who spotted the lunusual readings in the tests ... and then did something about it. Otherwise this may have continued for longer. It must be even more upsetting for anyone associated with this hospital in any way, than it is for the rest of the general public I hope that justice is done. Also that the people on FB (and other websites) that post vile comments, will think before they write.

	I was there last friday I am due to go in again for a procdure I am have been admitted to the hospital on many occasions and I still have complete trust .

	yes i agree she should not be named till charged, mud sticks and if she is innocent people are still going to continue there hate campain towards her,

	TBH if it wasn't on FB it would be on another site. FB is a wonderful concept but can be abused.

	There are many vile, narrow minded, intolerant people out there who simply like to be one of the baying mob rather than thinking for themselves. Have you reported this group Hayley? If enough people do then FB may just delete it.

	The question to be answered is,Who gave all the details to the press and Media?.All the Police needed to say was,A person has been arrested in conection with the case,enquiries are still ongoing. And thats all.I wonder who recieved a brown envelope for the other details.M.So much for innocent till proven guilty :-S

	And yes her name and a photo are on the front page of the D Mail plus details of her parents, jobs etc.

	As I read it, at the moment anyway, if she is guilty, they can't charge her with the deaths as they have not yet proved the deaths were caused by the insulin so I assume they could only charge her with tampering with the sachets. IF she is guilty.

	The police have till 21.05 tonight to charge her /ask for more time or release her , she has been in custody for 48 hours it isnt looking good :-0
