Voles or moles Puss?

Lesley, thankyou for asking about my eye :) my eyelid puffed up that night like I'd been in a boxing match, but is now almost back to normal, I have been out tackling more elder roots :-| I think some of them have gone down into the mine shafts that are around here lol.

How are the elder trees doing Rose, got them all up yet?

I wondered if Puss meant voles or moles as well. You said Vole first then Mole Puss :-D

OH has planted the potatoes in tubs today, also filled the hanging baskets with soil and hung them in the greenhouse to warm up a bit before planting.

AnninGlos Report 29 Feb 2012 09:06

I think they have survived because of the mild winter.

Julia we've been getting flies on sunny days but only on windows that face south south/west, they've not been very lively or very fat it looks as though they've just come out of hibernation.

Greenfingers same here regarding ladybirds and earwigs.

I've just treated myself to two white lily bulbs & a pack of freesias (£2.56 Wilko's) and a bag of sidalcea from the 99p shop, don't feel too guilty at that price :-)

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 1 Mar 2012 17:09

Good value Rose. Our pound shop has loads of garden stuff in, lots of seeds and bulbs as well as tools etc.

Rambling Report 1 Mar 2012 17:12

I have got quite a lot of seeds saved Ann, so must get some compost to start some of them off soon. In fact I might go and have a look through them now to see what there is. :-D
