Thanks Island for explaining that to me.

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 09:31

Isalnd and Julia Just looked at a couple of posts on Yahoo news and they ask questions which I am sure need to be answered:

First Poster
1.where was the stepfather when the girl was abducted?
2.have the police search the girl's house yet?
3.is there any relationship between the girl and her real father?
4.where was the girl's real father at the time of abduction?
5.have the police carried out dna and forensic in the arrested suspect's van?
6.is there any sex offender or peodophiles living close to that area?

Second Poster
where is her biological father?......or patternal relatives? have they checked out her stepfather? more often than not these things always happen closer to home..........why did she go so willingly into a strange car if she didn't recognise the driver?

Also, one poster has suggested she got into Bridger's landrover 2 days earlier and DNA has therefore been compromised.

And is Dai Smith the second husband of Coral's mother? Or the father of April's stepfather?

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 09:47

Probably last post was asking too many questions, but would like the RR to tell me by pm why it was referred. Is it against rules to copy from yahoo news perhaps?

Would have immediately removed post myself if told I had done something wrong

Kay????

Kay???? Report 4 Oct 2012 09:51

There is a misty feeling over this.

If that is a custody photo of this man then there isnt an air of confidence about him.

1+1= arent getting the right add up either.

hope that little babe is soon reunited with her family.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 10:10

I will ask questions again in hope I will not be RR'd. Perhaps some have been answered here or in press already.

1. Where is April's biological father?
2. Where is April's stepfather?
3. Did she get in Bridger's vehicle 2 days before abduction?
4. Where is Coral's mother?
5. Is Dai Smith either the father of April's stepfather or the husband of Coral's mother?

Julia

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 10:18

Well, I truely do not know why my post should be RR'd.
I agreed with Marions post, and expressed that I was uncomfortable with the police interview. Island corrected me when I had assumed that the man present at the interview was April's step-father.
Now, what is wrong with that.
It is getting that people cannot post any comment, about anything, even when it is inoffensive.
Wonders why so many people do not want to be members on here anymore

PS. Perhaps the RR'er would like to identify themselves. Thinks not.
That a thread like this, should attract the RR'er, is totally appaling.

+++DetEcTive+++ Report 4 Oct 2012 10:23

Perhaps they know the family and were doing an internet search for more news?

This thread would come up if the little girl's name was entered on google and we all know that you don't have to be a member to Report

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 10:23

Julia. Don't worry about it. I have been RR'd twice in last 2 days, probably by same person. First one was not upheld and clearly reinstated. Both yours and mine will be reinstated, I feel sure. Only niggling doubt is that I cut and pasted initially from yahoo news blogs and that might be against rules on here.

Detective Did not realise that. That would make a lot of sense. I can imagine police and family would not be happy about speculation yet. But plenty on yahoo news and elsewhere. Newspapers far more restrained so far.

Julia

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 10:28

Thanks John and Detective. I am not about to turn this thread into one about me.

Detective, there was nothing in my thread to cause anyone offence, no matter where they read it. It is pure vindictiveness.

Agree, Julia. Nasty little diversion by somebody. Next official news will be available soon at about 11 this morning. Weather better for searching for April today.

Rambling Report 4 Oct 2012 10:38

Don't forget there are two other children to consider, ok the sister is a teenager, but the brother is only 10 and will need family there for him too...that could be why few appearances by family members.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 11:15

Rose Good point. But brother and sister have been fairly high profile. They were both out leafletting on Tuesday evening. Only other one who has appeared that I have seen is stepfather of Coral.

Just watching 11am press conference and a lot of police resources and a lot of volunteers being organised for the search. And Bridger can be questioned till 5m Friday before police have to charge him or let him go.

Got impression that Superintendent John is getting increasingly frustrated that they cannot find April. Without knowing that she is safe or where she is, police hands are tied.

Island

Island Report 4 Oct 2012 11:29

John, the only reason I posted on this thread was to add that the man with the mother is Aprils grandfather - public knowledge from BBC news site.

Please don't include me in your amateur 'detective work'. I'm sure the police are in possession of the answers to those questions .I don't need to know the answers.

I am as keen as anyone to hear that this little girl is found safe and well but I have no need to throw in my half dozen eggs.

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 11:43

Island Never even mentioned you. Did point out that he is stepfather of Coral, which sounds more complex than just "grandfather" of April.

Police are held high in your estimation. Perhaps rightly. But the Cannock Chase murderer of 1960's murdered probably 6 little girls between 1964 and 1968 up and down the A34 between Birmingham and Manchester. Five of those little girls would be alive today (be about 50 years old) if the police had acted responsibly.

Where did they find murderer and arrest him in 1968? In a flat directly opposite Walsall police station!!!! His window looked across to the search control room. And he had previous. And his wife knew what he was up to!!!

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 4 Oct 2012 11:50

This is a thread about a missing 5 year old not an analysis of family members who may or may not appear in public.

It smacks of trying to make comparisons between this case and the McCann, Matthews and Sharp cases. Look what family appearances meant in those cases!
I am happy that the closest family members aren't appearing every 12 hours.

Please just concentrate on the child. There are plenty of forums online where you can spout your amateur sleuthing theories. Well there are at the moment until they get shut down.

Julia

Julia Report 4 Oct 2012 12:01

Supercrutch, I have never made any case comparisons, as each case is different.
And, as I signed off my original thread, this was from a concerned mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I am not heartless, despite what the RR'd would like to portray, nor was I offensive.
I can think of plenty of other threads to go on, if I wanted to be offensive, instead of one about a missing child.

JustJohn Report 4 Oct 2012 12:03

Fair comment, Supercrutch :-D Said my piece anyway. Accept my admonition, and apologies if my questions have upset anyone. :-( :-(

Pleased though that RR has again been overturned (and also Julia's). Do you think I should remove my post (or posts for that matter?) I promise I am foremost hoping and praying for safe return of April.

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 4 Oct 2012 12:23

Thank you John.

Speculation on forums does cause problems, the most famous 'shut down' was the Mirror McCann forums of which I was a longstanding member. They were being monitored by legal representatives and considered prejudicial should there be a prosecution.

I think we all have opinions but in my view these are better kept to oneself until April is found.

GR could find itself in a heap of trouble IF anyone made unsubstantiated accusations and these were reported to the appropriate standards committee.
Sounds a little dramatic but it's true.

TheBlackKnight

TheBlackKnight Report 4 Oct 2012 12:57

Good day to you all.
I put this thread up to make people aware of what happened to April Jones & to see if anybody might be able to help in any way.

I do think it is wrong to speculate or throw doubt over the family or how the police are handling the case. Leave the Questions to the police.

With that in mind can we all stick to hoping April is found safe & well & doing what ever we can to help in any way?
