@ John :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Very good indeed, its amazing what you can find on Google , bless your heart.

Seriously though I met up with Noddy a few years ago, he was handing out prizes at a Management Training event, he was a really nice genuine chap, extremely proud if his roots. He remembered me from when he came with his Dad to my Moms house.

Paula. When dad was looking to buy a paper shop (about 1960) he had his eye on a nice little shop on Caldmore Green. Also one in Shifnal! And he picked a grotty one in Leamore in the end.

I liked Leamore though. But I often thought Caldmore would have been nice cos I used to go to Fellows Park a lot to watch Saddlers. Easy walk instead of a bus from Rosum into town and long walk out:-D :-D

My aunt worked for Boots in Walsall as a floor manager. She went to an international perfumery convention in Brussels. One lady asked her where she came from. "Walsall" she replied.

"Oh, so brave. Tell me, how do you cope with the language"

Auntie Pat mentally went through Urdu, Gujerati and other languages common by then in Walsall. Then realised woman though she had said "Warsaw" :-) :-)

Is a noddy holder a receptacle for a little cuddly toy based on the books of the same name?

JustJohn

JustJohn Report 20 Mar 2013 22:32

Wend. Have tried everything else :-( :-( :-( :-(

But you and Errol keep pushing thread along. I think Paula must have quite forgotten what question she originally asked.

This thread is all about a cuddly toy with spectacles and .........receptacles :-S :-S
