MaureeninNY - how about soup on a rope?

Elizabeth with numbers lye is used in many foods.

Elizabeth2469049 Report 24 May 2013 19:04

I do hope this is Errol's idea of a joke - the dollop of lye should frighten anyone off, it's caustic soda - did you see Allan's thread yesterday about the people given it in a salt cellar at a chicken take-away in Oz, Perth I think it was

I tried a spoon but it suddenly set with my spoon standing upright in the middle.

Still, my dish is sparkling clean now.

Only problem is.....

I'm forever blowing bubbles.

Just looked at that. I think it looks really appetising but I don't think I could eat much of it. Did you eat it with spoon or a hammer and chisel?

PollyinBrum

PollyinBrum Report 24 May 2013 18:20
