Had major problems getting Jeans for ex hubby years ago

He was a 32 waist with a 36 leg - and when I asked for this combo was always presents with 36/32 wrong way round. The only maker which actually produced his size was Lee and they were fine.

Surely my hubby cannot be unique? You would not believe the saga we have when it comes to buying trousers/jeans. He is 5'10, waist 34' leg 32' yet every pair of pants he's ever owned has acres of material loose around the backside, especially after a few wears!... even so called slim fit. Aside from getting a pair bespoke, does anyone have any suggestions or similiar expierences please.
