Sue glad you had a good time in Chesterfield, lovely place it is. Although I was born there I have to own up to not knowing it as well as Sheffield. Sounds like the hotel was spot on though. :-D

Joy I can´t believe I am already looking at next years ! :-0 :-0
and Stray don´t worry the London Eye will not be on my agenda. ;-)

Hotel was great,,,massive place. My bedroom was twice as big as the one in Sheffield and I had a proper shower cubicle.

They even had a pool table in the lounge/Breakfast area.

The staff were great and on my last day (Monday) I asked if they would phone a taxi for me to go to the Coach Station and because the taxi driver got stuck in a traffic jam on Sheffield road Jack one of the receptionists put my gear in his car and drove me up to the Coach Station.

Now that is what I call service...

Well Ladies,

I am just back from Derbyshire,

Decided to go further up the county where all ancestors lived for a couple more days.

Did the grave walking, did the Local Studies,Museum went shopping and had a good look round Chesterfield.

Enjoyed myself..

Ibis Chesterfield Centre is 3 floors high but the breakfast area is massive compared to Ibis at Sheffield Shude Hill.

Choice of breakfast was Bacon,Sausage(lot bigger than t''other place),Tomatoes,Scrambled egg,Beans, and some little round scrambled egg mixture pancakes,Mushrooms,3 lots of juice,Continental Breakfast,Toast or bread and butter.
And it was all cooked to perfection.

Uzzi thjanks for organising such a great week end.Had a fabulous time.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Edit,,,,borrowed a phone on Friday to put message on about Dizzi.

ha ha Mo ...I did look at the pub walk but as they only "visit" 2 decided we could do better :-0. There are other options and a long time to decide, I did think it would be good if we did something maybe on the Friday night but also something on the Sunday.

Now looking at Thames boat trips .... :-( no chance of dressing up for that though mmmm or is there ? :-D :-D :-D
