She is fighting to save her political life.

I hope the brave lady survives.

Yesterday's news Dermot.

Merkel has wheeled out her panzers and now it is Schulz who is fighting for his political life. His party - with or without Schulz - are now prepared to go back into coalition with Merkel and ithe CSU Bavarians. The Jamaica coaltion was never going to work. The example of the Tory party in London in effective coalition with the Luddites has put everybody off.

If Merkel goes down May will go down with her as all other German politicians are in favour of throwing the UK to the wolves regardless of the wishes of the car makers. Even if Merkel remains chancellor it is Theresa May whose poltical life is hanging by a thread.

The traitor Merkel should face the same fate as Ceausescu for what she has done to Germany and it's people.

Are you referring to the 30k failed asylum seekers 'lost' in the deportation system?

Germany also has low unemployment but with rising real wages and a strong currency ( the ÔéČuro is a poorly disguised DMark).

A series of German Chancellors have rolled their Beemers, Mercs and machine tools across the plains of Europe conquering all befire them beyond the wildest dreams of Napoleon, Bismark and Hitler. All without firing a shot. Merkel is just the latest in a line going back to the 50s. Where is the treason in that?

Germany is very short of skilled workers. Merkel noticed hat a lot of the Syrian refugees have excellent business and technical qualifications. As more and more of them are taken into the German labour market they further increase the nation's strength.

Contrast that with traitor May whose one idea is to sell of whatever bits of the UK don't escape to American big biz and the Chinese Communist Party.

Ever heard of carpet baggers? They financed the leave campaign.
