The ones I saw were knitted, lovely wee things.

I remember years ago my mum used to knit stuffed toys for
children in other countries.
Used to be the in thing back then :-)

Emma it is harder now with all the red tape :-| even charity shops can't sell knitted toys or even sell wool if it does not have a label on it :-|

The charity that takes the Octopus helps volunteers to make sure they reach all the safety standards.
There is another scheme where you knit 2 five inch squares and one is given to the baby and one to the parents. They are swapped everyday so the baby can pick up the parents smell. :-D :-D :-D :-D

Charity shop ? last year I couldn't give away a good 3 piece suite
they couldn't find the label on it.
