Thor and I are off to Mums early Christmas morning with the rest of the gang for breakfast and opening pressies, then Thor is on shift in the afternoon so I am staying at Mums till he comes home.......everyone is there this year plus a few extras so will be busy hectic :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3

R and I will have everyone to us in the morning
to exchange pressies as normal except No1 son
and his gang.
He will pick us up later and we are having Chritmas at
his place with a few others :-D

I find it a bit unsettling around this time every year since I had to retire early - receiving little trinket gifts & Christmas good wishes from ex-work colleagues with whom I have not had any meaningful contact for ages.

They mean well, I'm sure but an occasional phone call from them throughout the year would be more appreciated considering my inability to respond as I would have done as a young & physically fit whipper snapper. That's just one way to stave off the loneliness of being an elderly git - which I am!

Try not to grow old! :-(
