Well it is strange but parts of Churchdown seem to have felt it but we didn't, neither of us. It seems to have been pretty far spread. We were both sitting indoors, me in the dining room and himself in the lounge (rooms joined in L shape and neither of us felt a thing. (no sense no feeling.) Will have to ask neighbours now.

Lolol I can assure anyone who doubts... it is true....

I had replies from all over South and East Wales and as far up as Shropshire.

We are high up from the valley so felt less than those at sea level.

Before I knew about this I thought something had happened as I was parked and sitting still in the car and felt 2 slight tremors. I thought it must have been a vehicle travelling past that had caused it, but when the next one came by felt nothing. I'm in the midlands!

Thankfully it was a small quake by many standards. I remember one once I thought a big truck had gone by turns out it was a quake! Glad to hear all are well.

It rattled my chair and the sideboard, and even Dan's desk upstairs which is a heavy one.

I was having a lie down in bed with a crossword book when I felt the bed move.
I thought the cat had come in and jumped on the bed...... but no cat.
Then the back of the bed started to violently shake!
I thought the little monster had sneaked behind the bed!

OH shouted up the stairs that his chair jumped underneath him!
Then we guessed as we have felt one before some years ago :-D :-D :-D

The epicentre was in a little place called Nantyffyllon near Port Talbot South Wales which is 27 miles away from me!

Glad you are all OK. and I hope all your property is intact.

Ann
I know how you feel.
I didn't feel the one we had in Folkestone area in 2007, although OH and daughter, also in this house, did.

Parts of Folkestone were covered in scaffolding for months, while roofs, walls and chimney stacks were repaired.
