I remember you Eldrick, I think, are you that well dressed fellah always wore an almost stain free smock and matching clogs? :-D

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 9 Apr 2018 21:18

You mean Crocs. I always liked to be ahead of the game in the fashion stakes, thanks.

Do you still go to Fred's Prize Bingo at Accrington or just do it online now? I know how much you loved it.

Not since that very day I was only 10 numbers of the big money myself :-( never picked up a bingo dabber since. Please remove your comment about my " elusive ancestor " nothing was ever proven. Are you still a DJ at the village Hall ? Or did you give that up to become a milk maid :-S

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 9 Apr 2018 21:39

In those days £5.2.6d was life changing. Hard luck, eh.

Still D.J for special events, although I do mean to update my selection of music. It would seem that the Inkspots and Burl Ives classics aren't appreciated so much nowadays. Philistines.

Sorry about your ancestor, I was genuinely interested. I found a reference to a convict nicknamed 'Little Yorkie' and just thought it might help you solve the mystery. No smoke without fire is what I say.

Yeah man no one listens to 78's anymore its all Ep's and 45's.

I can still picture you stood behind your Gramophone gurning and flashing your tooth. You had that place rocking.

I refuse to be draw in discussing the unfortunate incident with Great Uncle Brad.

Madge Report 9 Apr 2018 22:11

Dont patronise Me Caroline I am not a child and you are not my Mother.

Eldrick Report 9 Apr 2018 22:13

What's an EP? I use a multi system Bluetooth graphic equaliser with digital and midi inputs with a 500 watt multi speaker sound system and a full laser and holographic display.

Great Uncle Brad? As in Bradford? The one who won best of breed with the...err...unusual dog at the Great Accrington Terrier Show? It all falls into place, you see.

Caroline

Caroline Report 9 Apr 2018 22:22

Sorry Madge?? It was meant to be light hearted :-)

Madge

Madge Report 9 Apr 2018 22:25

You so do not. You don't even have a hand crank for your tractor you use a broken branch.

No you are thinking of Little Terry with the limp, cross eyes alway wore a long mac and his mothers carpet slippers.

ooooh how lovely *sits on commode for hygiene reasons*

*laughs hysterically*

Caroline

Caroline Report 9 Apr 2018 22:46

The commode restricts you too much, you can buy ones that can't be seen according to the adverts anyway..........

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 9 Apr 2018 22:51

Ah yes, the one who went on to be a vicar until the other unfortunate incident with the communion wine. I remember now. Sad story.

No need for a tractor nowadays since they put a road in and we got electricity.

Do you still have that Gingham pinafore? Just asking.

Madge

Madge Report 9 Apr 2018 23:00

Wearing it as we speak. I've had to tone it down removed the frills and extra pockets.

Thats the one, when he used to say during his sermons " look all around you" there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Abit like Supercruch right now :-D

supercrutch

supercrutch Report 9 Apr 2018 23:09

Tisn't my eye I'm worried about leaking :-| :-| :-|

Madge

Madge Report 9 Apr 2018 23:13

Eldrick

Eldrick Report 9 Apr 2018 23:41

Does it still have the false sleeves for the trips to Netto though?

I remember you telling me about his sermons and how he replaced the communion wine with Ribena and meths. What a guy. Ahead of his time. Did he get parole in the end? Such a shame about the widow and her daughter.

Sharron

Sharron Report 9 Apr 2018 23:51

Fred's Prize Bingo?

Is that where he used to get to?

Madge

Madge Report 10 Apr 2018 00:08

As I said I had to remove the extra pockets and I told you that in confidence :-| :-|

Yeahhhhhh he got parole years ago last I heard he was had a Ben Fooy shop in Weston-super-Mare had a cracking line in homemade lampshades the things that man could do with a pair of knitting needles. They never found the widows bootleg distillery they said it was dragged away in the dead of night by a tractor! Do you know anything about that ? And the daughter did alright she married well to that Colin or was it Keith or was it both??? :-S

Supercrutch it wasn't leaky eyes I was talking about ;-)
