The only problem that I have with FMP is that I have to sign in about every 3 days ........ even though I never log out, they don't seem to have the memory of other sites. Even GR remembers that I am still logged in when I get in.

So 2 different problems for sister companies ........

GR .............. problems getting on to the site and moving around on the site. Always logged in

FMP ............ have to log in anew every 3 days. Can always get on to the site.

VERY interesting!

As you said before Nyx it doesn't make sense does it?

That lasted less than 16 hours then, 3 tries this morning via logo and 'support' link. I am not clearing cookies every day when it's only Genes that can't deliver ( FMP took to the count of 2 to connect) .

That's a bit rash.....

Allan

Allan Report 11 Apr 2018 09:28

Well, it's happening again and, as per Rollo's instructions, I can now identify the problem at my end, and will notify GR accordingly :-|

I turned my bl**dy machine on :-P :-P :-D :-D

Any more suggestions?

Just got the Error message when trying to get onto GR. Had to come in by clicking on the logo and getting to Home page

Caroline Report 10 Apr 2018 22:11

Same here Allan and Nyx...how long will it last.....

Allan

Allan Report 10 Apr 2018 22:07

I find it rather strange, that the problems I have experienced over the last few days appear to have ceased, at least for the moment..

I have not cleared my cookies and cache, nor have I changed my browser other than to see if it made a difference. It didn't, I still received the error message when using Chrome:-(

I think the 'problem' is that for so many years the standard response to anything on here was "change browser ( pref' to GC) clear cache and cookies' and most of us found that this just didn't work with the faults being thrown up.

So I am trying a little experiment, not changing from GC but clearing c & c (it's a nuisance because I don't want to have to sign in on the other sites that work perfectly) but will see what happens over the next few days :-)
