..and as for us 'Southern Softies' - how very DARE they!!

Perhaps suggesting deafening someone should also be reported :-P

Do I detect double standards?
If I worked in a call centre, Dermot, I would find your 'suggestion' very abusive.

Careful Bob...you said the P of the P name might be enough...oh so have I now....

...so his name wasn't a Peter, then?

I used to get 'misplaced' racial insults, as did my 'driver' - his gran was a Czech Roma. He was called Peter on building sites.

My avatar is me, added about 8 - after 3 years in Scotland.
I'd faded quite a bit, by then :-D
Moved to Cornwall, and I became 3 shades more tanned.

Oh yes - just like to say, I look nothing like my avatar now! :-S
Even my daughters, who, to be fair, had never seen the picture before, didn't recognise me - and they knew me when I had black hair!
One thought it was a 'random' National Geographic picture I'd sent her. :-D :-S

A bloke who used to drink in my local was known as Paki Stan. His name was Stan, and as he spent all his spare time acquiring a sun tan,.... well, you get the drift.

:-D :-D :-D

Actually, looking at my avatar pic, my expression is sort of saying 'You what'?
It's not saying 'This is a nice school photo, let's be happy'
I have a propensity of saying with my face what I'm really thinking (hence it's difficult for me to lie). I believe the photographer had trouble making me 'lighter'.

My internet is being cut off today.

A lady with a metallic, American voice rang to tell me this morning. She said I had to press one to get to BT and have it stopped but I didn't bother.

So, bye, been nice knowing you.

Ah Sharron...... :-( :-D

Mind you I get almost daily phone calls from possibly the same woman telling me I'm about to be arrested for not paying my tax. In fact the only good thing about my landline not working this past week is the fact I've missed those calls and all the sales people.
