Only 'partially' filled with water - after nearly 80 years?
Sounds fairly water tight to me!

Bobtanian Report 28 May 2018 13:39

looks like "water table" level lines on the wall,, I would think that IF it was perfectly sealed, water in, but not water out..

My daughters house has an "access pit" in the garage.... it's totally impractical because it re-fills with water in no time

All we know Kay is the house was built in 1908
The Solicitor is checking the deeds
But we don't think its mentioned But not sure yet

The experts who have been are clueless
They all have different opinions about when it was built

But its 10 ft down then 6 ft 6 high inside
All would have to be dug out by hand in those days
and the concrete sections put in
Most of the experts agree
it must of cost a lot of money even in those days to put in
and is way to well constructed to be for normal members of the public
So far they have said it would house 100 people
another expert 80 people and one 40 people
So nobody knows for sure :-D
The baker light lights could have been added much later
or according to some may have been put in at the time of building :-D
