You know you want to stay!! The cheap subscription price is worth it even if you only look in now and again. We all know the site isn't what it used to be or should be but after 15 years you'd miss us and we'd miss you :-)

Unfortunately, the site is not fit for its purpose any more. There are too many errors and technical problems that cannot be resolved.

For the first time in 14 years I shall not renew paying membership. I have deleted most of the threads that I have started but shall leave the ones on the tips / genealogy chat board plus a few others including Military research, a Christmas thread and Some sayings by Kahlil Gibran.

Malc and Barbra should both stay
You never know what you still have to find out
and I am sure you still have friends to make on here :-D :-D

Elizabeth, EOS, there may be many good people on here, but the site is not supported efficiently, in my opinion;and there are other free forum / s. I removed a "tree" from here a few years ago at a time when the site was unstable. We can keep in contact.

Well I am a tight arse so I wouldn't pay the inflated price if I went then came back again

I already keep up my ancestry and FMP subs and that's expensive enough for me especially as I mostly use both as search tools to help others

The problems get worse the more people leave, it means there are fewer views to be read and less support to be found.

I hope you guys will reconsider.
