You can leave your shower til the night before Sharron if you want :-) :-) :-)
As my nan would say plenty of soap will do..bless her She didn't believe in these fancy shower gels and sprays etc but she always smelt lovely.

I haven't had my hair cut in 3 years just a trim.once was permed and curly but now halfway down my back and straight! I trim the fringe myself, it saves loads of money and time!

ive already typed out my itinery etc as so many people to fit in its easier to see at a glance where and when I shall be Last time made the mistake of pinning the sheet to mums kitchen wall so she could see where I was if she needed me. oh my big mistake, she kept track of my every move and kept phoning me daily!

So this time, I shall tell her on a need to know basis otherwise it made me feel I had gone back 40 years and was living at home again..lol What time will you be back, who are you with etc...

I am going to try really hard to not take loads and loads of clothes I wont wear.last trip I was over weight with the case and had to pay £30in excess baggage charge so not this time.I think one pair of shoes, ankle boots and some comfy flip flops should do really but im terrible if I get to the big shops and sales? mmmmn cant resist haha.

Anyway we shall see.
Have a good day folks

Oh Liz that's a shame..Yes Norwich is too far for a day trip. one day I hope to be back living on the mainland so that may make it easier to travel about and meet a few of you.
Sorry folks no win on lottery tonight not even £3.00 on the thunderball. oh well there is always the postcode lottery tomorrow when I check..always live in hope of that.

Well one more week to go.Yes folks this time next Friday I will be on a plane hopefully en route down south. Ive packed most things already so quite organised.

just giving the house a quick spring clean before I go.

Hope the weather south is better than the blooming gales and torrential rain we seem to be having up here and its chilly too. So do I need the shorts and flip flops?....haha

Sharron I shall phone you on the Sunday eve to confirm a time etc..

I think I might stand on the pavement waving me union jack and then you wont drive past me..hehe ok?

Anyway looking forward to meeting you and Gwyn and a good feast and a natter.

Ummm at the moment the wind up here next Friday is showing70-80mph eeeek!!!! If that happens I wont need a plane with wings, I'll just need wings!

Its changing daily so hoping it will go down a bit.The ferries wont go but the planes will up to about 60mph so fingers crossed.

Gwyn in Kent

Gwyn in Kent Report 16 Oct 2018 07:04

Well Florence was able to fly in advance of the storms and so visit Sussex, where Sharron and her O.H met her and gave her a lift to the olde worlde village pub, where we all spent a few hours chatting over a lovely pub lunch. It is good to meet people who have previously only been a name on the boards and to catch up with Sharron and her OH after a gap of some years.

Sharron brought 'The Quilt' that we had heard about, - a huge work of art, so patiently worked. I'm so glad she managed to finish it and uses it after so many years in the making. The range of material designs in the patches is amazing.

Thank you to Sharron for organising us and arranging meeting place.

Glad to hear you all had a lovely meeting.

Sharron Report 16 Oct 2018 12:19

What Gwyn didn't tell you, because she is a kind and thoughtful lady, is that, although OH and I have been to the Six Bells at Chiddingly a number of times, not only could we not find the pub this time, we couldn't even find the village!

I am so pleased you managed to meet up despite location difficulties. It's great to put faces to names, and I would have loved to have been able to catch up with you all altho Gwyn and I have met at Jules' wedding in Norfolk many years ago. The daphnia cutting you gave me Gwyn, has made three lovely plants with that citrussy fragrance to remind me of our meeting.

Well folks thats me safely back at my home. I was up at 4am this morning with a taxi at 4.45 to Gatwick. Spent a long day there and then delayed in the afternoon.
Finally arrived back home at 6pm!!

I had a wonderful time all in all and none more enjoyable then meeting Gwynn and Sharron plus OH and her daughter.
The quilt was a fantastic work of art and we took ages looking at all the pictures on each piece. So glad Sharron bought it along.

As for getting lost..well actually it was a mystery tour and took me places I hadn't been to for many years and I enjoyed the scenery.

Thankyou Sharron for picking me up and taking me home. Thanks to your OH for being the chauffeur.

Hope the "cap" fitted!!!

Hope all is well with everyone.
Take care til the next meet wherever that may be.
