Yes Caroline they have been an attraction for some years now,,,,,,big lite up deer and all sorts pop up in gardens,,,but seems a must have it,,,, flashing lights round the house eves,,,,,,and bushes and trees,,,,,

Well that's me tree and decs up
Went for just 2 colours this year. Purple and silver baubles with a little silver tinsel...less is more.

Found some purple strands to sprinkle over once I had finished.


Put up my xmas tweed wreaths I made over last 3 years at school too..they look special.

Absolutely exhausted now as still coughing away but resting no and job well done. :-D :-D

Definitely infuriating blue lights, though. :-|

Are the super huge inflatable Santas etc popular over there in front gardens? Lots of them over here everyone trying to outdo each other......they win I'll not try :-)

Yesterday and today, there's been the clanking of a stepladder, shouting, arguing, swearing, much slamming of doors etc.
The neighbours are putting their Xmas decs up!! :-S :-S

I thought there was an emergency vehicle outside.
No, just the xmas decs across the road :-S

I wonder if the GR baubles will go up at midnight? Only just over two hours to go.

Daughter's neighbours have garlands of lights, which flash and change colour.

When they are on flashing blue mode, daughter keeps thinking there is an emergency vehicle outside.

Just remember

Every time somebody puts their decs up before December

And I agree, blue lights aren't Christmassy!

I hate blue led lights - not at all Christmasy in my opinion.

The house across the road from us has had their Christmas decs up since the beginning of November - and it's a house full of adults - not a child in sight!!

I noticed a flashing window the other night,but its all crooked and dangling anyhow....and they are,

the blue led....horrible.

so that means their windows wont be cleaned till next year.

You may jest, but a few years ago, a neighbour was asked to turn off their xmas outside lights on a sunday as it offended someone close by and they were of a local church!

Since I moved I hang my washing out on a sunday now..lol Ive become a right rebel..lol
