Colonic Irrigation clinics were closed last summer due to the hosepipe ban. . I don't like them - they bring out the worst in me

The badge on his cap has King George VI crown

On his second marriage he is described as, Medical Sergeant RAF Eastchurch 1924.

His third marriage ..Sub Inspector Air Ministry Constabulary 1946. My dad I think had written 1946 on the back of the photo..but not too sure....he was born 1889, so would be 57...which is his age on the cert..so must be correct

:-)

Perhaps the white top to the cap not issued then. The army are redcaps as they have a red covering the top of their hats. Wonder when they bought in the white top.

It was taken before February 1952.

Is complete Ann.

A sergeant during King George's Vl reign, he has a whistle so could still be wartime as we have never seen someone with a chain. He hasn't got a white topped hat so not a snowdrop (policeman), not aircrew but has been through WW2 (medal ribbons)
