Sue In Yorkshire. Report 31 May 2019 18:10

Just to let you all know""""LOVE ISLAND """IS BACK ON MONDAY

And while I am on here there were 2 TWO people who have committed suicide on this programme.

Also 1 contestant has been found to be using drugs while on the show so whoever it was has been taken off the show.

Now does anyone else this show should be taken off air permanently.

Because I do.

Hubby used to say it as Jeremy Vile show!!!

He would say switch off that rubbish

I know when daughter was approached answering the mum of her stepsons allegations they were very polite and wanted her side but she is a quiet girl anyway and didn't want the exposure that maybe she as the innocent party would somehow be the wicked witch of the west

she had had enough solicitors making false allegation anyway

she told em NOOOO pee off!!

Rumour from those who knew the man is that he was a compulsive liar who had quite a dodgy past.

JennyBG

JennyBG Report 18 May 2019 18:55

True, but if it IS true...…...

Sharron

Sharron Report 18 May 2019 18:41

Rumour has all sorts of things.

JennyBG

JennyBG Report 18 May 2019 18:37

Rumour has it that the lie detector was wrong, so no wonder the poor man was distraught. Disgusting programme, that preys on the vulnerable in society, for the titillation of those smug people who watch....rather like the amphitheatres of old. I'm glad it's been taken off air. The aftercare talked of was non existent in most cases, apart from the few who got the audiences talking because of their teeth, or Daniella Westbrooke, because she was never out of the news. Shame on anyone who actually thought Jeremy Kyle was worth the thousands and thousands he was paid, if they think that is entertainment.

Dermot, not knowing your previous occupation, can only say that certain occupations are more likely to come into contact with suicides or attempted suicides. I have only known of two people, one successful one not, both had 'good' reasons.

But how many of us can see into someone else's thoughts, or know how much is 'too much' and what problem might seem ( or actually be) insurmountable?

Dermot

Dermot Report 16 May 2019 15:17

Rambling - many of the ones I've had to deal with in my previous career were indeed chilling mysteries.

I must have been allocated the 'difficult' deaths.

Rambling

Rambling Report 16 May 2019 15:12

What about when it's a permanent solution to a permanent problem Dermot? That might be a health problem that no one can take away.

It's not always a "chilling mystery" at all.

Dermot

Dermot Report 16 May 2019 14:42

Suicide is always a chilling mystery & a desolating act.

Suicide doesn’t take away the pain. It just passes it on to the family left behind.
A permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Fresh reports are coming from those who knew him, that the deceased fellow was far from being a 'gentleman' - and they are not shedding any tears following his demise.

A sad ending for any human being.

I have always wanted to be restrained by Big Steve.

Sharron Report 16 May 2019 11:04

I could provide Big Steve with some employment.

Rambling

Rambling Report 16 May 2019 10:57

quote from online

"The insider said low level jobs on The Jeremy Kyle Show were commonly viewed as a gateway into the TV industry but because of the extreme pressure, turnover was high.

They continued: "There really was a problem with turnover. Some people couldn't deal with the demanding nature of the show and took issue with the ethical side of things."

Big Steve should easily find another job, that's if he needs to, the studio still needs security.

Dermot

Dermot Report 16 May 2019 10:09

Nobody has mentioned Jeremy's two 'bouncers'.

Are they now unemployed too?

sounds as though you're well rid of him!

But he's done well out of the show, according to what I've been reading ........ not only the £3 million payoff, but the $2 mill a year pay cheque
