I don't like creme de menth either, only tasted it one, unusual taste, but they say it's potent.
Me ? I'm fond of Worthington E of Newcastle Exhibition., drank my share.

OH once opened a bottle of Bailey's Cream that had been in the cupboard for about 10 years after we were given it and first opened it.

The contents went straight down the drain

It was gross!

Following a particularly interesting Sunday afternoon when I was eighteen, I could not even smell whiskey without my gut knotting up for many years.

You can bet that, if I won a raffle or somebody wanted to thank me for something, or the boss gave me a Christmas present, it would be a bottle of whiskey.

There were seven in the cupboard at one time.

lol well it's not that I 'don't' drink but that I do it so rarely ;-) I'm a coffee addict so other drinks don't get much of a look in.

Son got given rum for birthday/Christmas several years running, and he doesn't drink much at home and sensibly when he's out, so there it sits :-) .

The only drinks that I definitely would not try after their 'best before date' are those containing dairy products, eg Bailey's Irish Cream.

Not sure about UK labelling, but in Oz those types of drinks have to have a use by date on them.

Beers also have such dates, but can last well past that date.

Wines are fine
