Annie ......

.......... that's the main reason I'm resisting OH's constant offer to take me for coffee, ie sit-in at the coffee shop.

Just in case it was covid ............... I do not want to pass it on. I think 14 days after symptoms cleared should be sufficient, and I'm thinking that was Friday last week apart from the tiredness.

Just in case ............. I'll contact my physio before my next appointment which is on August 4th, so about 10 days away.

I hope you continue to feel better, Sylvia xx

I've been struggling a bit in the last couple of weeks, mainly anxious about Mum. Unfortunately she had a fall on Thursday, I took her shopping round and she was on the floor...I ended up calling 999 as her legs didn't seem to 'work' after OH and I had managed to lift her into the chair. 3 paramedics, an ECG, blood pressure test, temperature taken etc. later, she was deemed 'OK'. They were all masked and gloved but I couldn't help worrying about all the respiration going on in her small living room!! :-S

I know what you mean, Sylvia. We hadn't been out for a while before we were ill and were then too poorly to go out for two weeks. By this time we probably weren't infectious any more but stayed in a bit longer just in case. After two weeks it was the awful exhaustion that was keeping me in. A friend has a son-in-law who's a doctor and the message I had was listen to your body. Your brain may want to do things but if your body's not willing just give in to it. This turned out to be sound advice.

I'm almost through my 2 weeks since last symptom , which will be Sunday or Monday.

I thought that would be sufficient to be able to keep my physio appointment on Tuesday 4th August. But, just in case, I checked in with the receptionist 2 days ago .................

nope, not long enough. :-(

They won't have me until the following week, August 11th.

I'm mostly very pleased that they are being so strict, but I do need his treatment!!

OH has been in a really forgetting mood this week ....................

he wants to get his computer geek in to see if he can sort out a problem with one of the programmes on there.

He has come to me 3 times since Thursday last week to say that, and what day would be best for me.

I then say "but I'm still in my isolation, I don't want anyone else ........."

Before I've finished, he's stomped his foot, swung around, and said "I'd forgotten that. I'll phone him back and tell him we have to wait".

Last night, OH saw this guy while out on a walk, and geek said how proud he was of me for sticking to my guns :-D

I am feeling a lot better. Still don't want to do anything too energetic, haven't yet been out for a walk for example.
