It's what you put babies bottles in and used them afterwards without washing off the Milton

Well, I bought my usual 1 portion of House Salad as OH won't touch salad. It's in a plastic container. But apparently that's worse than loose. I was worried about people handling loose veg.

Jem, just caught your post. I have been thoroughly washing lettuce leaves and stood them in salted water for a while. Same with tomatoes, radishes and celery. Just washed cucumber as I always peel the skin off cos I like them that way. Given up on spring onions cos I found dirt down the middle of the leaves so thought beggar it, too much hassle. :-D

I used to soak jars for jam and marmalade in it before I put anything in them. I also clean down a surface with it if any raw meat falls of when I'm chopping it up
