They have not said an awful lot about it as yet. I was thinking he was arrested for something and brought to custody..I might be wrong..but if true..why was he not searched beforehand

Just had a quick look, they are saying he was cuffed and had been searched..they found drugs and ammunition...how did this happen!

I did hear that one of the arresting officers was a rookie....what a horrendous and very sad start to his career

My dad when he was serving was threatened with a shot gun, he was terrified at the time.....he very bravely entered the building through a window..sending his dog in first. I have his commendation

I got shouted at, when a child, by what looked like a rookie. He told my sister and me off for sitting on the step of the factory about 7 pm one dark night. He told us to get out of the cul de sac straight away and stay away - I said we couldn't get home then, he shouted at us so I said I live there - he hadn't seen the 8 houses in the street :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Would not happen now Pat...never see a policeman walking nowadays...in fact not seen one local for years...all whizzing past in their cars :-D :-D

My Dad in his early days walked the beat or rode the Police issued cycle :-D :-D

Going now to do a brew and cut me a bit of Swiss roll..choc of course...Gogglebox at 9pm :-D :-D :-D
