I was taking up jeans, and hemming up curtains. There does not look much material when they are hanging up, but crikey, I was swamped by them! Next time I will just use scissors and cut the ends off. :-D :-D

Or are they new M&S jeans....I noticed M&S have changed their sizes, I was standard but now short :-0. I had to keep reading their size chart...but definitely short and they fit :-D

I did some sewing yesterday and very pleased to say - my hands aren't too bad today.

Maddie....... hemming curtains and jeans by hand? Do you not have a sewing machine? :-S

I do have a sewing machine Island, but I prefer to hand hem as it makes it invisible. I can remember our sewing teacher at school. If you could see a stitch on the outside of the fabric, you had to unpick it and start again. It must have stuck.

The jeans were not mine Belle, but Beloved's from Gap. Now you have to order everything online, it is pot-luck.

I too noticed the M&S sizing has gone a bit haywrie. I used to be a Regular, now I am a Short. I know you shrink a bit when you age, but this is silly! :-D :-D :-D :-D ;-)

OH has a full day of sport which includes his favourite footy teams- Manchester United (in a Man City Derby match) and Celtic, so I'm up my tree!

Checked in on today's added DNA matches, and had a match- the highest yet next to my Granddaughter 1. It's to the daughter of my 1st Cousin.

Back to Tresearching now ;-)

You sewing ladies have got the right idea being busy with indoor jobs.

I did cut up the garden stuff that daughter cut down yesterday, but it was too cold to stay out longer.
Really noisy out there.
The seagulls must be looking for mates and are screeching and cooing about the wonderful flat roofs they have found for nesting.
