It's based on real stories Ann. It may well have done in Privately run homes if staff would not or could not go in

That is the same all over Pat, I saw a hearing in USA with Fauci FDA CDC and Phizer in the box….they were asked what percentage of their employees were vaccinated..it was under 50% for 3 and the other refused to say :-0

PatinCyprus

PatinCyprus Report 18 Sep 2021 20:02

75% here now double vaccinated and over 2000 now had 3rd jab

**Ann** Report 18 Sep 2021 20:03

I may be wrong..but thought the Private homes were run on NHS guidelines regarding H&S etc. :-)

JemimaFawr

JemimaFawr Report 18 Sep 2021 20:04

It's a very difficult situation. You can't force people to have the jabs, but also nobody wants their loved ones catching it from unvaccinated people either :-(

**Ann**

**Ann** Report 18 Sep 2021 20:06

Jem, you can catch it from vaccinated people..they can spread it to each other. The vaccine is to hopefully stop you getting a severe form of the virus

:-) :-)

JemimaFawr Report 18 Sep 2021 20:06

In the beginning they were not provided with lots of necessary PPE as it was first priority to NHS hospitals and then NHS homes. And in the crisis that followed I think it would have been difficult to stick to any rules. It was complete and utter chaos. Such as putting hospital patients untested into the homes

26 Aug 2021 — A study shows that people vaccinated against coronavirus with the Delta variant had similar peak viral levels to those without vaccination.
