Rain just started here too and it's turned very cold out :-(

One tree down 4 house up from me, it's landed in the drive but fortunately missed the house. One of those ornamental cherries with the flowers just starting to come through snapped about a foot from the ground. It is a mature tree about 1-2 feet thick

Next door has had some ridge tiles come off the roof :-0

The Park has two very mature trees down and a portaloo installed for the Tree planting today is on its side and moved about 100yds. Plenty of branches and twigs everywhere :-0

Not going out anymore :-D

We were quite lucky up here. Very windy early on last night but nothing like we saw before Christmas with storm Arwen. It is calm now and quite dull and cold but at least it's dry.

We moved anything we could (wheelie bin, recycling, brushes and shovel) inside the shed. Some of the videos on Tiktok were very frightening.

Hope none of you had any damage.

Hardly a hint of a breeze first thing this morning and the sky was blue, then the wind picked up and it's really wild and whistling out there now.... not as strong as yesterday, but quite fierce all the same.
House seemed cold. No wonder, the wind whipping between our house and neighbour's had blown out the pilot light in the garage, so all heating and hot water was off :-|

All sorted, thanks to my daughter <3

Staying in now.
