Brilliant sunshine earlier, when I had an early appointment a few miles away. Saw my 1st Spring lambs in a field on my way home.

They would have had a shock later, when we had heavy hail, then snow falling thick and fast, but too wet to settle.

The sun has now done a disappearing act and the snow has arrived again. It's dark and gloomy now.

Just been trying to send meter readings for the electric and gas but can't get on to either website. Will have to try to remember to have another go later.

A bleddy horrible, cold day here. Woke to snow but it disappeared fast and it's been on and off all day - sleet then snow then sleet then .... It was so cold that I had to don a thick jumper to receive my groceries.

I think next door's Ukrainian guests may have arrived - I am such a nosey parker, but I have a feeling it could have been them just before lunchtime. I may be wrong but if they have arrived, I know we'll be introduced eventually.
