A bright dry morning...at the moment.

Lap top ran out of power, then we had a meal..... and then everyone was gone :-0

I'm sure I'd see huge differences on Cyprus now. OH went back for work a while

ago, but I have never returned :-(

Maybe I'm best left with special memories <3

I remember our shock when we first came back but it hasn't destroyed the memories of 1970 - 73.

Somethings have improved and others :-(

We were in Cyprus January 1972 until June 1974.... just missing the invasion.
We lived in Famagusta and knew Ayia Napa as a sleepy little fishing village :-0

Back to UK for a while, then back out 1976 to 1978 in ESBA
A great place for our 2 young children then <3

OH served almost 25 years with only 1 overseas posting in all that time :-(


I agree it's a wonderful place for children. Nappies dried so quick you had to be careful or they went stiff. :-D
