Take note…….

STRICTLY Come Dancing has been moved from its Saturday night slot in a huge schedule shake-up on the BBC.

With the FIFA World Cup set to begin in Qatar next month, Beeb bosses have moved to make sure there are no awkward clashes with big games.

It means the Strictly quarter and semi finals will now air on a Friday night instead of Saturday.

BBC iPlayer has warned fans: "The quarter final of Strictly Come Dancing will now air live on Friday 2nd December and the semi-final will now air live on Sunday 11th December on BBC One and BBC iPlayer."

Oh yes MTG so she did.

I dont watch Eastenders, so I am not familiar with James. But he seems a genuine bloke and gave it a good go. I think Fleur was picked to make it an easy dance off, she was never going to leave. We never do know the result of the voting. Fleur had to put her hand to the ground to stop herself falling in the limbo move. Could have been nasty.

In the Results show Shirley was wearing a short haired wig, I had the uncanny feeling she looked rather like June Brown, Dot Cotton.

AnninGlos Report 31 Oct 2022 07:42

Almost a predictable result, although it is debateable as to whether or not Fleur should have been in the dance off. Yes she did make a mistake but overall her dancing was better than James. A shame as I found him very likeable on this.

LondonBelle Report 31 Oct 2022 06:40

I think both Ellie & Nikita were genuinely surprised at not being in the dance off :-0

I always feel sorry for the Celeb that has to leave but I think it was the correct decision in respect of James :-(. Although I noticed Fleur did make a mistake when doing the limbo move :-) Even that couldn't save James but I think he went wrong too in the middle of his dance :-(

Both weren't as good as when they did it live :-(

This is when the competition really starts to hot up :-0 :-D

Dave Arch used to get a proper mention at the start of the show, I wonder why that has changed.

Has anyone else seen that there is a huge group on social media of Arsenal fans supporting tony and the BBC are afraid he will win the competition because of them. These followers, thousands of them are committed to using all three of their votes each on tony which alone would ensure that he won.
To me that is a shame for him as well as for us the viewers as it makes a mockery of the competition by making sure he is never in the dance off, but it is also not good for him because, at the moment he is improving but, if he is going to get all the votes why bother. I wonder if the BBC will disqualify him or something if they don't stop.

Well you cant take anything away from the costume and make up departments, but as usual it was a bit over the top, along with the marking.

I thought Tony was coming on in leap and bounds, literally. I liked Tyler, Kym, Hamza and Ellie with Johannas.

I feel it may be Ellie S and James in the dance off, but dont know who will go.

And I know I am banging on again, but I wish they would introduce Dave Arch, and name the singers properly. Without them there would be no show! :-|

I don't normally enjoy the themed night and have never liked haloween but the graphics were very good and the judges costumes were good particularly Craig's Morticia. although I found Motsi's mask distracting.

I particularly liked Kym's Rumba and I liked both dances by Hamza and Tyler. Never keen on couples choice but Ellie's was better than most to watch.

I think James and Ellie and Nikita in the dance of. Ellie had mastered the steps well but it lacked something and, yes, this time he did look as though he was dancing with a child which must unfortunately be hard to avoid.
I was not keen on Molly's Argentine Tango and felt that was a reaction dance to being in the dance off.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 30 Oct 2022 07:29

Loved the graphics and Mortisha :-D :-D

My favourites were Tyler's Cha Cha Cha and Ellie and Johannes' Couples choice :-)

I also liked Hamza's Tango and Kym's Rumba :-D

Tony did well, I don't think he was the Joker this week, he did show improvement. Katya has done well with her choreography :-D

For some reason Ellie & Nikita's Foxtrot just didn't look right whereas Nikita's choreography has been so good up till now. It did look like he was leading a child although Ellie had all the footwork

For me Ellie & James should be in the dance off. James did do a number of lifts, so sadly I feel Ellie should go :-(

Halloween Week tonight, although not my favourite, I am still looking forward to it.

Ghoulies and ghosties, and long legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night. :-D :-D

AnninGlos Report 24 Oct 2022 07:50

Although technically the better one of the two, I didn't really like it as a dance (yes Belle similar to the one to Matilda last year). I liked jayde's enthusiasm and 'joy' at dancing. For a bigger girl she was very light on her feet. But, while humorous, it was not really dance. I think Molly will have been shaken at being in the dance off, sometimes it doesn't do any harm. It does start to get interesting now. and actually Tony is improving a bit :-D

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 24 Oct 2022 07:10

I liked Jayde but at the end of the day Strictly is a dance show :-). I suppose both Jayde and Molly deserved to be in the Dance Off specially as the Public are not yet ready to vote off Tony :-(

Molly's dance reminded me of Nikita and Tilly's dance to Matilda, another Couple's Choice, in last year's competition and if I remember correctly they ended up in the Dance Off too :-0

On the night I suppose Molly's dance was better than Jayde"s but Jayde should be proud of her performance especially as Molly has had dance training, so well done Jayde :-)

It will be interesting to see how Molly reacts to being in the Dance Off when she returns next week...I expect it will be an outstanding performance :-)

Strangely I was not keen on the theme for the night although it was cleverly worked out. I think Kym was depressed by being in the dance off last week. She did say they had both had a bad week on the dance floor, I assumed that was what she meant.
Yes good to see so many from the depicted shows supporting the contestants, several from East Enders.

I particularly liked Helen and Hamzin and while his Viennese Waltz was strange I actually enjoyed it.

Nikita's choreography is excellent and he is really doing well with Ellie as belle says you tend then not to notice the height difference.

difficult to tell re the dance off as the public are very unpredictable. Possibly Kym again

MotownGal

MotownGal Report 23 Oct 2022 08:02

Well I liked Helen, Tyler, both Ellie's and Hamza;s dances.

I thought the rest were a bit lack-lustre to be honest.

Kim seemed a bit down last night I thought. Tony will probably be kept in. Nice to see Lee Dixon still there supporting him.

I was counting the amount of previous contestants in the audience, so much so, I was missing the dancing.

No idea at all who will be in the Dance Off. :-S

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 23 Oct 2022 07:13

Well I liked the BBC 100year theme especially the opening sequence :-D

The stand out performances for me were Helen's Charleston, Tyler's Tango and Hamza's Quickstep :-D

I also liked Ellie and Johannes' Tango to Casualty. At the start of the Series Ellie looked very clumsy but now she is becoming more and more elegant :-D

I think that Nikita is doing very well with his choreography and because of that I forget about the height difference :-D

I didn't like Will"s Viennese Waltz not because it wasn't danced well but for me it was too dramatic more like a Paso.....I like a Viennese Waltz when it is more elegant and demure :-(

I thought James had improved again......very elegant top half just to needs to work on his bottom half :-)

Not sure who should be in the dance off :-0

I think the Public will keep Tony in as his entertainment value is worth a 10 :-D

Perhaps Molly and Kym in the dance off :-S

MotownGal Report 17 Oct 2022 13:08

Sadly Matt lost out this week. He always seemed so unsure, and was very gracious when he lost, and went straight over to Kym.

Will did say he had been unwell in the week, and he really did have a rasping voice.

Apparently Hamzin was unwell too. Maybe there had been a bug going around.

Very high standard now, although some of them have been to stage school.

Good to see David Seaman and Lee Dixon supporting Tony.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 17 Oct 2022 10:10

Let's hope so. He does seem to have the ability and it was a pity he was unwell as it can't be easy to move your body as in the rumba if you don't feel fully fit.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 17 Oct 2022 09:42

Will had a rubbish week and I think he would be the first to admit it. It could have been due to illness or the Rumba being so technically difficult or a mixture of both :-0

The previous week he was praised for making 'ballroom sexy'. Hopefully, this coming week he will turn the tables again and come back fighting like those who have survived a dance off often do :-)

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 17 Oct 2022 08:59

Depends on the public mood I suppose, could be Will or Tony sometimes it would be good to know the actual order of the public vote. I think it is about this time that we start to get a real shock at somebody leaving.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 17 Oct 2022 07:06

Yes, the right decision. I think Matt had been on borrowed time:-( However, I always feel so sorry for the couple that have to leave :-(

I was surprised to hear Kym's name but then when I heard Matt was joining her his fate was sealed :-(

This is when it starts to get interesting when the standard is high....who will be next to leave the ballroom :-0
