Such a shame after her hard life that her paintings only fetched huge sums of money after her death :-( :-(

I read that she swopped one of her paintings for a grilled cheese sarnie….it sold 50 years later for $350,000 :-0 :-0

Sadly that’s the story of many artists.

We never saw any use of the money unless it was to buy more paint. :-(
