I went about 20 odd years ago, with No 1 Son. He was doing a project on Porsch and Alpha Romero and they had a few of the posh cars in there. :-)

Because the same thing happened to me once. They insisted I would get used to them

I have to say they were all very nice....no pressure to take them as is.....were all very apologetic.....I could read better with my old glasses :-0 :-D

Funny how opticians always try and flog you the most complicated specs. Last time I went they made me tri-focals. I couldnt walk along in them, I felt like I was walking uphill!

I took them back, and got a plain pair of reading glasses. I dont care if everything is soft focus out in the street. :-D :-D

Did I ever tell ya that V had some work (Ceramics) in a Gallery in London, a few days after arriving home she got a call from a film studio …wanting a few of her pieces for a film they were making.

Cut a log story short….the film was on the top shelf in the video store :-D :-D :-D
