Bright and sunny here but a bit chilly.

Looking at curtain fabric books this morning. Typically the one I had chosen is discontinued. Think I've settled on one that isn't a million miles away from the curtains I've had up for 37 years :-0

Visited the cemetery yesterday and some lovely person has taken all the flowers (both fresh and artificial) and the pots from Bob's plot. I hope they feel good about themselves because they made me feel sad. :-(.

It's duller today, here, but not raining at the moment.
It was pleasant yesterday, so I went for a spin to my Mum's grave and called in on my Cousin, who is heartbroken, after losing her little Pug (13)

I'm not planning to do much today. I've done as much as I can do in the garden at the moment (my garden bin is full) so I'm going to do some FH work I think.

I'm sorry about your Bob's grave, Kath <3
I went up to Joe's grave on Monday. The silk flowers have taken a bit of a bashing in the storms, but I've fixed what I could, but some of the flowers are dirty now.

I can imagine how you feel.
My immediate family and I are the only ones to visit the double grave of my aunt and her father, my grandfather in Hampshire.
Last year, as the inner liner of the memorial flower container had become mis-shapen, after many decades, I bought a new liner and 'rose' for the top.
The next time we visited, they had gone even though my daughter had written our surname around the outside. :-| :-(

I don't mind a bit on the fence to help the birds over the winter, but does it have to send roots out onto our grass too?

I did not visit K’s this morning as I usually do on Tuesdays because I shall go on Thursday which would have been our 60th wedding anniversary.

I decided to call into Tesco (the other side of town) for a couple of things I could not get locally. My club card was not recognised ….

‘How long since you used it ?’

…probably during covid! Do they run out after a certain time?

‘Ring up and they’ll put your points on.’

Could not be bothered as it may be quite some time until I use it again.

Talking of Supermarket Cards, when my David passed away both Sainsbury's and Tesco's added his points to my card :-) With regards to Sainsbury's he had well over £100 worth of points :-0 :-0

Thank you Belle. £100 + - you were surprised, no doubt!

Keith had one so I shall look for it. He often visited that side of town because they had all those stores men like - tools, equipment, gadgets. If there are points on his card, I may as well use them.

Belle, the supermarkets used to give points for petrol so if he filled up at supermarkets that could account for the large number of points.

Joy, I'll be thinking of you on Thursday. Shame you and K couldn't have celebrated your diamond anniversary but not many people have such long marriages so you did well. <3
