I've already had words with someone parked across my drive when I came home from walkies :-|. What do people not understand about parking on a dropped down kerb :-P

Dull and grey here but looks like it might lighten up.

Still doing the hospital visiting. Friend was moved to James Cook Hospital yesterday morning for stents but they decided instead of stents he needs a triple heart bypas. He now has to wait until at least Wednesday to give the blood thinners he was on time to get out of his system before they can do it, so he's going to be in for at least another week and a half :-( At least the parking is free with my blue badge.

OH was taken to hospital yesterday blue lights flashing. They kept him in but hopefully

he may come home today. Just waitnig to hear now.

I delivered a card yesterday to a long-time friend only to discover that one of her children died suddenly three weeks ago. She was, naturally, shocked and very tearful as parents don't expect their children to go first. My heart went out to her. <3 <3

After a horrendous night, weatherwise, with rain and gales, it has stopped raining for the time being and the wind is not so strong. But especially cos of this weather, I am in a bit of a pickle. I know it's my own fault, but here it is....

..... Some of you will remember my cat Rhodri who died nearly 3 years ago.
Well, when he was alive, one of the young cats belonging to an animal hoarder living opposite, used to sneak in and steal his food. I used to turn a blind eye if Rhods wasn't watching. If he was, I would take Blackie outside and give him something.

Well, he has been coming most days and psyching me out from the window or scratching the back door. I started giving him bits of food.
But last night he was scratching the door like mad and was sitting in the rain. So I let him in until it stopped. He thinks he lives here now.
His real owner will not be pleased cos it's not the first time her cats have defected. But I don't really want another pet. I can't afford the vets bills for one thing. But it looks like I will have to have a conversation with it's owner. :-0
He's actually watching me from the windowsill now! I feel so guilty!!!! :-(

I'm still working my DNA matches into my tree. My latest one has my maiden surname. I was excited about that, but she was actually related to me through my maternal gran's Kent side. BUT one of my seamen ancestors left Pembrokeshire and settled in Kent. So I may have a two-way link.

Well. I've talked your heads off now :-0 :-D So I'm off back to my tree
