Belle, no full English - but, on the way back, I did call in to our local butcher for a cheese and onion pasty and some meat for dinner tonight which I might do with dumplings - done in the oven this time so they are crispy-topped. Lush.

It's been cloudy and very windy here today and I've been cold because the decorator wanted the windows open and the heating off this afternoon to paint the radiator. :-(

However he did say he will be finished tomorrow so we've arranged to have the carpet fitted on Thursday so should mean we can get the furniture back in and everything else sorted over the weekend :-D

Dumplings sound lovely Joy - I could just do with some but my kitchen is upside down.
