It has been quite a mild day here.

Belle, my sympathy goes with you.

Met pals for coffee this morning. Their little dog had a lot of teeth out earlier this week and is just back to eating proper food - he likes chicken! I think they said 19 teeth - I could be wrong but I remember thinking do dogs have that many teeth? He is getting on a bit now so his teeth must have been dire.

Sis came around 11 so another coffee. She was just in time to see the red halter-neck dress and net petticoat that are now slung over the back of one of the sofas. It is luverrrly so I shall try to take a pic to let you see it.

My oh my, that net petticoat took me back some years. <3

They are not mine, you understand, but belong to a friend younger than me who still sings in a group (40s and 50s songs). She has loaned them for an exhibition that a local heritage centre is organising in March (International Womeb's Day, I think).

I remember net petticoats and paper nylon ones, which were stiffened with sugar water.
Sister in law had them. I was too young ;-)

I felt like going for a walk today, but it never happened. It's just not the same, when it's wet and windy :-|
