Yesterday, I was out walking locally (near open land) and I too noticed beautiful blossom.
I haven't seen any cherry yet, but the blackthorn and wild plum trees are looking a picture :-D
A neighbour's magnolia tree has been in bloom for some time.
Me?.. I've just got bright yellow forsythia.

Bright and sunny here too although it is a tad chilly.;-) ;-)

We have lots of trees planted in our pavements here and although at times it’s like

walking up hill and down dale, especially where there is tarmac, at this time of the year

many have blossom on them and are very pretty.

Gwyn, the yellow flowering shrubs are the first to blossom in my garden too. I have a huge double pink Camelia, it was my Mum's plant, which has the odd flower open but it is absolutely smothered in buds so in the coming weeks that will be a picture to behold :-D

The unpredictable Tango Man has done it again....a few words from him and The World breaths a sigh of relief and the Markets turn green, they really were spiralling into a black hole :-0 :-0 :-0

Petrol near me is now 147.99 per litre when I last got petrol at the end of Feb it was 129.99 :-0 :-0

I didn't realise that 52.95 of that is fuel duty and then there is 20% VAT on top of that :-0 :-0 :-|

This may be controversial - and I apologise in advance - but although I agree 147.99 per litre for petrol is far too high, most people I know are quite happy to pay way more than that a litre for wine :-S

When you look at it like that Kath it's true.....however with fuel increasing by so much so quickly it is going to have a knock on effect on other things eg prices of goods in the shops :-0
