Caught on the hop this morning. I was enjoying an extended breakfast in me night attire when the doorbell went and it was the gardener who’d come to lope a tree. I had expected him one evening after he’d done his rounds - which was what he said but he’d decided to come before he started!

Girls, excuse the expletives you will have heard from this neck of the woods but I am fit to explode as the B*k* integrated washer-dryer I bought early in March is useless as it is not drying the clothes. I have reduced the weight of the load in case they affected the spin but I am still having to carry the still-wet clothes out to the old warhorse in the back of the garage to spin them,

There’s a whole load of mush about the machines online - some good, some bad.

I think it works properly if you have very few items - not even half a load!

It is also still gurgling - which my son sorted on Sunday so it looks as though I shall have to get down on my hands and knees after every wash!!! Even then,there is a constant hiss of air escaping - which I have learned to live sith.

This is one machine I would not recommend. :-( :-( :-(

sorry to hear your washer is not up to snuff Joy. My pal's daughter had one, and it caught fire, so count your blessings, but it is not much consolation. :-0

Joy, as you haven't had your washer/dryer long why not get in touch with their Customer Service as follows

If you are still experiencing issues please contact Beko’s Customer Service at 0333 207 9710 for assistance. It may be that there is a blockage in your washer dryer. We do not recommend that you try to repair the appliance yourself. Our expert support team will be more than happy to assist and organise technical assistance for you.

I googled that too, Belle, and saw others who had problems as well as others. Who wrote that their machines were ok.

Checked with Beko twice and got no joy there. I am going to ring the supplier (Currys) as it is£140 if Beko has to send an engineer !

It's not fit for purpose, so I think you have legal rights.
The advice teams on TV say that your contract is with the person who supplied the machine to you.
Best not to try 'fixing' it yourselves though, as they might use that as a 'get out' clause.

I would be furious, if that were me as you've had it such a short time.
You might just as well take your washboard and go down the river bank :-| :-|
