Chilly first thing again, mist was rising from the cricket field in The Park this morning it looked like it was on fire :-0

I can picture the mist over that cricket field. My daughter and I saw similar, one day last week, when we were up and about early.
The mist was swirling above a house and was very localised, so yes it did look like a fire, at first glance :-0

Yes, it's bright and sunny here too. But I'm finding it chilly indoors still. I may mow the lawns later.

Not a lot going on this end! :-\
Granddaughter 1 came up last Wednesday and stayed the night. We took a spin to the small town my mother is buried in and took some flowers and went for a walk.

She and Granddaughter 2 are off to Florida for 10 days (I think) next week. GD1 has never been abroad before and GD2 has only been to France for a short trip with her school a lot of years ago. They are both excited and a little apprehensive.

Lovely weather here and was out to Sparkles this morning then to Waterstones and finally picked up a Cornish pasty, a long cream and jam doughnut for lunch and a fresh cream apple turnover for tonight from our lovely local butcher and bakery.

Hung out a line of washing before I went to the shops and it was drying nicely while I was having lunch…. then, before my eyes, the bleddy line snapped and the whole lot was on the grass. I could not believe it as it seems I am having nothing but laundry problems at the moment. Thank goodness I have a nice light aluminium rotary line so I put the washing through a rinse with sanitiser liquid and more softener and hung the lot on the rotary line.

What was that someone said about things coming in threes? I am hoping it is not the old warhorse Zanussi that goes next!
