Morning All. :-D <3

Up and at ‘em this morning.

Success yesterday after arguing the toss with that store. Phoned them but was told I would have to go into the store I bought it from which, of course, I did. After a bit of argie bargie the upshot is they’re coming to take back the machine tomorrow.

Grey skies here at the moment and it has rained overnight. :-(

Whatever you’re doing today, enjoy it. :-D <3

Morning Joy and Maddie :-) <3

Well done for taking on the store for yourself Joy and standing your ground.

Are you getting a replacement machine?

Maddie, Did you buy lots of flowers for your troughs at the Garden centre recently?

Duller today, but still quite pleasant and it might get brighter later.

Morning Gwyn :-D <3

They did not have exactly what I wanted Gwyn, so will re-visit on Saturday when the next delivery comes in. Did not want half measures, I like them all planted up at the same time :-)

Hope you are feeling a little better <3 <3

Morning Gwyn. :-D <3

I think I may, Gwyn, as the plumbing is in but I may wait until late-summer. In the meantime, my son will reinstate the cupboard casing he took out.

My Zanussi in the garage is ancient but still working. Just a pity I did not take notice of K when he said I ought not to block off the door from kitchen to garage - but I wanted a u-shaped kitchen with cupboards all around.

I could get into the garage from the hall if I put in a door but that would entail moving the gas meter and, I was told, applying for council permission and more expense (girder etc) as it is a supporting wall. I asked about it several years ago and it was £2,000 then, so even more costly now.

I understand, Maddie.
Do you have a colour scheme in mind ?
Sometimes quite ordinary plants can put on a really good show.

Doing OK thanks, Maddie :-)

Walking round to my friends tomorrow for a coffee, so another step towards 'normal'.

Enjoy your coffee, Gwyn.

I am off to get ready now as it is my volunteering morning.

Back later, folks, but in the meantime, have a lovely morning. <3 <3

Hindsight is a wonderful reminder Joy.

Daughter had a door from kitchen to outside, but it was blocked off to enable a U shaped kitchen.
You now access the garden from patio doors in the dining room, so hopefully she will have no regrets.
No garage or access to worry about in her case though.

Good morning all :-D <3

Dull and dreary here and we’ve now had our expected millimetre of rain :-0 :-0 ;-) ;-)

Well done Joy. Having had a similar experience with a dishwasher I refuse to buy

anything else from that store. We bought the machine we have now in John Lewis.

Gwyn pleased to hear you are feeling better <3

Have a good day everyone <3

Thank you Von <3

We have full-on sunshine again. The gardens need some rain really, but everyone seems to enjoy the sunshine and I think they smile more than when it's gloomy.

Blustery winds forecast, so I won't be casting aside my winter clothes just yet ;-)
