So glad I wore a coat. I really needed it :-0

Due to the 'improvements' being made, the bus stops have been moved from a semi-sheltered area to a sloping street, which is the most exposed and wind-swept in the town. :-| :-|
Not one person waiting for the (late) infrequent bus was impressed with the changes.
I chose to pay for a special diagnostic scan and photo at the opticians, but new glasses will happen at a later date.
My girls usually come along then to give their opinion on any new look!

Belle,I think there is a certain degree of flexibility regarding school holidays, as long as the required total days in school are completed.
The school where I volunteer has 2 weeks now, whereas the primary school in town has 2 weeks in October.
Quite a few families choose to take their annual family holiday, at this time of year, as it is a bit cheaper than in the height of summer.

Laptop is telling me it's 18 degrees, but I'm not thawed out yet, so it doesn't feel like it to me :-0

Ah right, that makes sense about the two weeks...the reason why I asked is cos all the schools around here only seem to have the one week off.....next week :-)

I usually pay for the scan at the Opticians too :-). Do you have a new prescription from this Test then:-0 :-)

My laptop is saying 20 degs but like you it doesn't feel it although you can feel the warmth in sun when sheltered from the wind :-D
