Weather doesn’t know what to do here. :-S

Dry at the moment but it rained overnight.

Out this morning then, depending on the weather, I may call in to see an old friend (since 1955). When I visit she always calls her daughter who usually comes round and the three of us have a good laugh and a natter. The daughter is a lovely ‘girl’ and last time I dropped round she called in just to let me know that she could not stay as she had an appointment.

My regular Tuesday morning sidekick is someone I have known almost as long.

Belle, the problem with my garden is my late partner, for reasons known only to himself, worked hard at creating a high maintenance garden. Now I am having to work even harder at making it low maintenance so that I can actually cope with it in future. I thought I'd booked a gardener to do all this work...... I had :-|
I hope your dental woke won't be too painful. Just think of being back home with a nice cuppa :-D

Fly, me? overdo it? No choice when you're left in the lurch :-(

Belle - hope the dentist visit isn't too painful for you or your pocket <3

My leg hasn't improved much. I'm going to call the doctors in the morning (when the doctor I saw last week will be in) and see if she will give me more antibiotics. My old doctor would have done but the new one may not want to give me more.

Island - don't work too hard in the garden. I don't need to as we had the whole back garden block paved with artificial grass and just three high raised beds which don't need much doing with them. It was done for my other half when he couldn't manage the garden any more but now is a godsend for me and my son who are not gardeners. We get someone else to cut the beech hedge twice a year and that's all it needs :-D

I worked freelance, feast or famine, no cushy 9-5.
I'd get "it sounds like a lot of hard work, will you get it done in time......" always the negative, never praise.
I could do without this garden work but it needs doing and I'm a determined hard worker. I also have a brain and survival instinct
