Hi folks just popping on to update from yesterday , i also had email from gaynor to say she's back did not want to mention the relay 1st day but i am able to tell you gaynor is 5mins down the road to me. Now i will be away from the 26th of july so if Ade is not available to do his bit i can pass to gaynor or whoever . As to planns for the bear nothing in particular because i have not heard back from the press( dissapointed really ). But i would like to get the Special Numbers Tickets going for the Bedtime Buddies please ... COME ON PEEPS.. Love Gaynor and Marion.x.

Thats great Marion, didnt realise you were so near to Gaynor. If you can pass GB to Gaynor, in the next couple of days, Gaynor will then have GB for the following week. Then I can pick up from her. I have had a message to say that Gaynor and John are ready and willing to carry on as June planned. ....Can you let me have details about the Bedtime Beanie's???? Will definatley buy some. All the photographs are wonderful. Thanks everyone. Diane, will let you have my address, and I shall have to have yours, so I can send Harry his Mini Gaynor Bear. There is definatley one for him. Good morning Mommy and everyone. Been in the taxi on the school run but unable to take photo's due to privacy act (you know what i mean folks) so just enjoyed ourselves and met the children at school who asked all about me and looked at my book at all the places i've been and things i've done. On the weather this morning as we had breakfast yogurt toast and honey yummy it said it may break the record for the hottest day in history well i'll be under the gazebo with plenty to drink chilling out. I'm a bit disappointed we are not getting any response from the thread for Bedtime buddies. Has everyone forgot me Boo Hoo. Come on all you peeps buy the numbers and lets raise the total for both Gaynors. Hugs Gaynorbear and Marion.x.

Hello Gaynor Bear and Marion. Glad you are having nice weather, but make sure you have your sun hats on and plenty to drink. Juice or water not alcohol. Have posted on Bedtime Buddies thread. But not too sure it will be allowed to stay. I have not heard from Gaynor as yet. Do you think it will be ok for me to PM her? Jenny. xx

Good morning everyone. Looks like it may be a little cooler today. Marion I am sorry your thread has got deleted. Did you manage to copy and paste as I suggested? I am wondering if we can get something on the Gaynor Bear Relay site. Let me know what you think. Gaynor Bear will be in Blackpool weekending Saturday 29th July. Where she will be reunited with Beau Bear. I shall then be meeting up with Jilly around the Scottish Borders and the GB will begin her tour around Scotland. Jenny. xx

Good morning Gloria. This was what me and dear June were planning, It had been our secret for weeks. My Husband booked that particular week off work, as I wouldn't have been able to managed both GB and Beau and luggage on the train from Preston up to Gretna. Due to circumstances I am now picking up GB in Blackpool and me and Hubby will then travel up to Gretna Green, then across to Berwick to Jilly. Once I have a definate date I shall let you all know when we will be at Gretna. Jenny. x

Marions grandson Jake has lent me his little car as my small legs easily get tired on long walks piccys to follow. I'm going to meet Cameron Marions other grandson who is coming up from Reading friday I think he's just my sort.. The sun hs just come out here so it may turn out nice for sitting in the garden and tonite we are planning a barbi mmm. Love to all my friends Gaynor and Marion.x.

Jenny and everyone else...i am so sorry but I dont think I can now take part or at least co ordinate the scottish leg of the relay...I have to concentrate on my health and wot is happening to me for the next while....I know sue is out of action for the next wee while too so I'm afraid all I can do Jenny is send you my current list of people and hope that someone else will be happy to take it on... sorry for letting my part in the relay down but I hope you understand Jilly x x

Jilly I was so shocked and sorry to read your bad news, just as I was about to go out last night. Please dont worry about the Relay, I will contact you soon. Jenny xx I just cannot believe how events have turned out these last three weeks. First we loose dear June, Group 15 co-ordinator. Then Camberwell Beauty, Group 8 co-ordinator and now Jilly, Group 17 co-ordinator are told they have contracted this evil disease. Not forgetting my lovely Sister in Law, her MIL and FIL. This alone makes me even more determined to use GB and Beau to raise monies, even after the relay has come to an end in the UK. I am picking GB up from Gaynor in Blackpool next weekend, and then on to Gretna Green with both GB and Beau. Then was due to hand over to Jilly a few days later while she was on holiday near Berwick on the Scottish Border. I am now wondering if it may be a good idea to delay my visit to Gretna Green, and give GB a little rest during August while the Scottish members of the relay have their summer holidays in peace. This would give me time to arrange a Meet Up for all who can attend a lovely wedding at Gretna Green and get it splashed ALL over the Newspapers and TV if at all possible. Then hopefully if someone from Scotland can take GB from me at Gretna. I shall be able to get GB and Beau sorted with all their wedding attire, and perhaps arrange a couple of bridesmaids. Also I have the the birth of my Grandaughter to think about. I shall know this afternoon if the baby is going to be induced this weekend. She is not due until 13th August, but the Mum does have problems at the moment. But please give me your views whatever they are, I will not be offended. Jenny xx
