Oh, they're all coming in now aren't they?? My Grandfather was a cabinet maker and I've got the most exquisite display cabinet he made for my parents' wedding. Oh, I should update the message and say I once had sideboard and dressing table |

Is someone around you getting married and it isn't as grand as they would like because they can't afford much. It feels like they are dumbing down and it is upsetting them. |

I can take that on board a little. As far as I know they're not getting married, just buying a house together but would have liked life, family money wise, etc, to be as it once was |

they could certainly afford to get married but perhaps not in the grand style of things to which my son had previously been accustomed to. Recently I've sometimes been subjected to breathing problems but DH has had asthma since the age of 24 |
