Yes, Laurie, you're right! Our Devily is one special gal. Not doing much today. Have been lying on the lounge, reading the paper and am now sipping the chardy. Terry's about to start cooking the Sunday roast. Ain't retirement Baby Ruby's mother, Rebecca, gave us to packets of bulbs as a farewell yesterday. 3 Gladioli and 2 Lilium, both Ruby red, as she reckons Ruby is just as much our as she is theirs. How special is that! We going to plant them under the maple at the front door. Nice. Lew Lew xxx

Afternoon Rebs How you been, its quiet on here without you and Lara and others thats away, hope everything is going ok with you. Lew and Laurie, thanks for you kind words, not sure If I deserve them, I have done nothing that others probably havent thought of doing. SHOUTS OF JOY! I have just been speaking with eldest niece and she tells me I'm about to become a Great Aunt for the first time!!!!! Bub due early February 2007! I'm sooooo excited. I didn't know her, but have seen her birthdays etc. She must have been a wonderful woman. Anna, how will you be voting on your water recycling? I am surprised that Toowoomba is short of water, another case of not enough dams. How are you feeling today Lew, free as a bird. Have you got any thing exciting planned? I have been very busy cleaning out my inbox and I am about to start cleaning out my messages on GR Yesterday I ticked the box to stop living relatives from showing on my tree, that should cut down on the hot matches. back for a mo. making sure those polenta cakes haven't gone off over night. chucked some veges together for soup. hope it lasts 2 days. gotta get the ' thing ' taken off my face tomorrow. will be in no fit state to cook when i get home... stuffing last of cake down gobhole and nearly choking... theres a motive to the junk mail thing as well. i have to advertise my new work venue over the next couple of weeks. i'm going to be walking about doing a letter box drop for that, thought i may as well combine the 2. also am doing a friends husbands. he's an appliance fixer. it doesn't cost a cent to be nice you know. i've got probably 150 -200 houses left to go. lotsa love yvette

guys , just read the bit about knitting vs. white water rafting. i'm kinda sticking up for both camps here because... i like knitting, but also reckon the best thing i've ever done (well almost) is go white water rafting in the most amazing hugest rapids in taiwan. i also like rapids in the kayak. i think any normal well adjusted girl can quite adequately do both .
