Went to son and dil to be for lunch yesterday, I didn't know son was such a good cook, he kept that hidden when he lived here, when I complimented him and asked him where he learnt to cook he said that he had been watching me for years, wasn't that a nice thing to say, dil to be thinks it great too as she doesn't like cooking very much. The mah jong evening went off really well they didn't leave till nearly 3.am, boy did I sleep well last night Luv Jillx

Hi Jill - left a msg re June in the early stages when it was only up to the first 2-3 pages, there has been many more since then. No Laurie, Shaz didnt tell me she was talking to you - and I didnt give Lew your address till just before I went off, so had no idea, I thought you were talking to someone in the states only. .. ntw Well no reply from my Essex girl to whom I sent my entire Cook family history to :-( I suppose that happens. .. She seems to only write one message a day .. maybe tomorrow I will get lucky. .. And no reply from the guy who said he sent a msg that I didnt get (but didnt re-send it!) .. And no reply from No. 3. Still, they say 'good thing come to those who wait' - that I have been waiting ooooooooooooooooooh many many years, is beside the point !! pmsl. Colder here today than the past few days, very cloudy outside. .. Hopping into bed for half an hour sounds a better option. Jood

Good idea, Jood. It's just turned very cold here, too. Very heavy clouds have now descended, but I'm not sure there's any rain in it. Might have to curl up on the lounge with my book for a while, under a blanket. Lew Lew xxx

Jood, if anyone is interested British Origins is having a FREE day on 4th July (American Independance Day), but the time span will have to be taken into account as to when you can get any info. Yvette, good luck for today. Lew, the weather here is perfect. No wind, the water is like a mill pond - bewdiful. I'm a bit like you today, sore throat and just feeling off. Not even going to hydro today. Laurie, ain't love grand. When I go riding in the morning, I quite often sit and watch the dolphins play. Oh look at this - everyone is busy today !! No Mondayitis !! I've been up to Rockdale to pay some bills, and couldn't wait to get back out of the cold wind. Feels like it coming off the south pole. G'day Waffling Wattlers, Havent been on here for a while, have been busy with several projects I needed to finish and spent the whole weekend finishing them off, one is an album for my grandsons 21st, I had so many pics and keepsakes so with what his Mum had I made up an album in the scrapbooking method and I am quite pleased with the result,also did one for my son who's birthday is in August, a good way to hand over all the pennants, certificates as well as photos, a present for someone who is hard to buy for. Welcome to Susan, a bit late I know, and another person for the Gong area,are you near Yvette? I am the Northeren Subs. Mary happy packing, as Laurie said fun to look back at stuff and reminece. A while back SusyQ you were asking about your usage on Bigpond /broadbandwith 500mb. we have only 400mwhich was fine until about 3 months ago we have been in dispute with them since then. we have been out of the house and come back to find our usage had gone up, we have a usage meter, also recieving and sending picture jokes ectbumps up the usage. we are locked in to a contract till Jan so can't change till then. It is now pouring down in the Northern Gong and some thunder, so will be back later perhaps. Hope all the sick people are feeling better Sandra in the Gong

Afternoon Wattlers Well I had a very informative day at the Library, well I hope it will turn out that way. As I was looking through the papers for birth notices a lady came and sat at the next machine, she got out her lappy etc and greeted each other with the usual hello,and while talking, I mentioned how she looked so well set up as I only had my pen and exercise book. She then mentioned that she was going through all 'The Advocate' newspapers indexing all the births, deaths and marriages. I mentioned I was only mainly looking for births for one family name, she asked what the name was and when I told her she said, oh I might have what you are looking for at home, as she has a tree of the Family name I was after, with most of the births, marriage and death details, we mentioned a few names and she added a bit into the conversation, which I knew fitted in my tree. So we arranged to meet on Wednesday so we can go over the names and hopefully I can confirm dates of some births etc. Laurie thankyou for the emails I especially was tickled pink with the one about good morning to a friend far away, Ooh I hope the dolphins will be splashing about when I come over to Sydney, they are so beautiful. Well must go and start organising tea as David will soon be home, and I will have nothing done. Cheers Sue

Know how I told you a while back that my cousin had got the OAM in the Queens birthday honors - and how he is the Bishop of Dubbo, well I got hold of his email addy a while back and sent him a congrats msg - we have exchanged a few emails with family news etc, as you do. Earlier today I got a really funny email, a bunch of naked hunky men shaking the booty - with one not so hunky exception - I accidently sent it to the Bishop !!! He sent me back a tut tut !! Well you might laugh . . . but I feel like the wrath of God is upon me! luv Laurie

hello to all couldn't get on over the weekend sorry we are now at Mckay trying to contact Cilla but can't find the phone number if anybody has it please PM me Went to Tepanyaki place in Scarborough on saturday night friday for Cassies birthday went to dfo all day friday and saturday morning and early arvo at Eemundi market omg am I tired still and left woodypoint Sunday morning early and spent last night at Rockie and arrived here 12:30 today any way folks I see you have retired Lew and Vonny has left Laurie was it you I read had the face thing removed please getting mixed up having to read so much hope you are all well and is the house going through smoothly Mary . The saturday night before we left we had a sample of the nut who lives next door to Cassie omg you should have heard the mad woman swearing cursing all at 3:30 in the morning the police came and she said ohh just been having bit of a party it happens Cassie said every Sat nite how lovely for her lol.
