Do you think there is more to death than simply dying!! I do. I believe that we just go through another door and to another experience

I believe there are planes of existance and we continue to be reincarnated until we can achieve the final plane... I also believe that we chose the parents we are born to so that we can learn the lessons we need to achieve this!!

Always have believed in an afterlife from a spiritual and religious point of view but went to see a medium last month which proved it for me:)

I am a huge believer, like Elaine I have been given proof that no one could ever have known (personal proof). It was given to me by a psycic medium during one of the sessions we held. This medium helped the police in the Holly and Jessica case (the little angels were found only 10 mins from where I live). Its a truely unbelievable feeling when the mediums are for real and not just about money, but you do need to be careful, it should not be about life changing news but a feeling of calm.

I beleive thats what keeps us all going. There is a reason why we are all here and given the freedom to conduct ourselves in a certain way in order to get to a better place eventually.

Diana - the thought that I would have actually chosen my mother horrifies me!

Feel I should apologise for my flippant reply earlier. I like to think that I am open minded but not having any personal experience I honestly don't know what I think. Chrissie

Ann I know how you feel, but maybe they have to learn from the experience of having us as much as we learn from having selected them. I believe ,like Di does, that we keep coming back until we have earned our progression,or we come back to help someone progress. I would like to meet a reliable medium at the moment. Can anyone suggest someone they trust? Rose

My partner thinks it is all a load of mumbo jumbo and that once we die that is it!! What a sad way to go through life... I personally have had too much evidence to prove otherwise! It does upset me when people I know and love die but I also have the comfort of knowing that they are always with me and that no matter what we will meet up again!

There have been a couple of relevant threads on the subject. For those interested, I am going to nudge up Tracy Blackburn's thread "Life after death - does anyone believe". It well worth reading as there's a lot of scientific fact quoted although there's also an awful lot of dross which makes for a long read. Spend an hour going through it and print out the valid stuiff for future reference. Len

a few years ago,i got an urgent call to a london theatre, where a world famous actor had collapsed on stage. after examining him,it was clear that it was just stress, and he needed to rest for a few weeks........he asked me to take him to brighton to see betty shine...well,not being a taxi service,i phoned my control room, and was told..take him..when we got to brighton,i met this betty shine, and it changed my life,no person has ever looked at me,and filled me with such warmth...it was winter in brighton, but it felt like being on a beach in barbados...i looked up her website...and yes,she charged the rich...but she helped the poor for nothing.......she died march 26th last year,my birthday.......shes gone to a better place...thank you betty.......sure your helping people, even now. bryan.

I also met Betty Shine once when she was in Brighton and I agree she was one of the most warmest people I have ever met in my life. Ive also read all of her books and used to listen to her and her daughter Janet on the local radio station. Sheila
