Yes Ann its the one at hempstead, there is always parking on the grass they open up a near by field, if you have the patience to wait and park reasonable, some people seem to just abandon the cars. The disabled places get filled up so no chance there.

My hudl has been playing up so dont want to download any more apps onto it to be able to read books on it.

There is red cross or oxfam book shop in bath rd, leckhampton doesnt look very big on the outside but goes back, it is just books. We go over there at least once a month.

As it was my choice I do have the gervaise Phinn book, someone recommended him to me a while ago and I managed to find this book for 20p at boot sale. Also waiting for NYPD Red to be transferred to my local library. Will go looking for Janeys war at the boot sale tomorrow as it isn't in the library.

Have red a Gervaise Phinn book, not sure if it was this one.
Have also got a James Pattersonbok on my shelves waiting to be read - but it is NOT NYPD Red.

Went to the library this morning and have requested al three books with the votes. So I'm going to be a busy little reader for a while.

Hope that everyone else is able to get the books of their choice.
:-)

I have actually read the Gervaise phinn one, although about 8 years ago. He is hilarious in his writing.

I will try and pick up NYPD Red (Mon)... I see Patterson has done a series of them.. like he did with Alex Cross and then he had 1st, 2nd, 3rd up to 14th .. they are all about a Women's Murder Group.. I have one sitting around waiting for me to read.. this series is good.

Will also collect Gervase Phinn same day I see this one is a third in a series as well.. Looks to be enjoyable.

I have read a lot of James Patterson in the past but have been giving him a miss for a while. One thing is he is a quick read.

Pammy it is NYPD Red.... lol NYPD Blue was that fantastic American TV series where there were so many in jokes that you could not miss an episode. You nearly had me looking for the wrong book.

Thanks Ann, have just downloaded NYPD Blue to start with.

Hope you enjoy some of these more than the Silent Boy.
